In celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Brazil and China, State Grid Brazil Holding, in partnership with Banco BOCOM BBM, sponsored the renovation and reopening of Casa Pacheco Le\u00e3o in the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden, where the exhibition \u201cTea Route \u2013 Botany, Culture and Tradition\u201d traces the history of tea from its ancient origins in China to its global dissemination, highlighting its rituals, arts and social evolution. The Rio Botanical Garden is part of this history because it was the first place in Brazil where the cultivation of the tea plant was introduced by Chinese people brought by the Portuguese crown especially for this work, in the early 19th century.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2012, the Orquestra Mar\u00e9 do Amanh\u00e3 has been sponsored by SGBH. The project promotes the learning of classical music to children and adolescents, aged between 4 and 19, who live in situations of social vulnerability. Using sports to promote a broad educational program (physical, psychological and social), the project uses football as a transformative factor, benefiting more than 400 children and their families in S\u00e3o Gon\u00e7alo\/RJ, improving the quality of life of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. Since 2015, State Grid has supported Hospital Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, the largest pediatric hospital in Brazil. The institution, located in Curitiba, Paran\u00e1, provides up to 70% of its capacity to the SUS and performs more than 300,000 consultations, 900,000 exams, 21,000 surgeries and 250 transplants for children and adolescents from all over the country each year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project supports more humane care for elderly people suffering from cancer, also providing support to their families.
