During Carnival in Brazil, the Year of the Horse began in China, a sign associated with energy, courage, dynamism, and progress. In a celebration of cultural integration, with traditional performances and interactive experiences, the SGBH team experienced, on February 12th, the union between these two great cultural traditions: the Brazilian Carnival and the Chinese New Year.

The Chairman of SGBH, Mr. Sun Tao, and the CEO, Mr. Zhao Yumeng, opened the event, highlighting the significance of celebrating two such emblematic dates for both countries simultaneously. Following this, the traditional lion and dragon dance represented the arrival of good fortune and prosperity for the new cycle. Subsequently, the energy of Carnival took center stage with a samba school performance.

Roots that transcend time.
The program also included a workshop on Regular Style Writing, a classic form of Chinese calligraphy established over 1,700 years ago during the Wei and Jin dynasties. Recognized for its balanced strokes and clear structure, this script is considered the fundamental standard of the Chinese graphic system and remains widely used in education, art, and formal documents. During the activity, participants recorded their names and messages for the new cycle, connecting past and future in a symbolic gesture of renewal.

By uniting ancient Chinese tradition with Brazilian popular culture, the meeting reinforced the integration between teams and the construction of an environment where different histories, origins, and perspectives walk side by side.
