State Grid Brazil Holding has partnered with SENAI to offer three free vocational training courses in the municipality of Gra\u00e7a Aranha, Maranh\u00e3o: bricklayer, administrative assistant, and construction carpenter. This initiative expands employment opportunities in the construction of the Gra\u00e7a Aranha\u2013Silv\u00e2nia Transmissora de Energia (GATE) project. Half of the places in each course are reserved for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative is part of GATE Educa, a professional qualification program linked to the GATE project. SENAI was chosen for the partnership because it is a nationally recognized and qualified technical education institution. The course topics were defined based on a socioeconomic diagnosis of the municipalities in the project's area of influence and a survey of potential job opportunities related to the construction work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
