With a Ph.D. in Electric Power Operation and Construction, a Master's in High Voltage Technology and a Bachelor's in Automation and Power Systems, Sun Tao has been working at SGCC since 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in managing power transmission construction and operation projects. He was the first vice president of Gansu Electric Power Corporation in China, and in April 2022 he took over as president of SGBH. He has been chairman of SGBH since March 2023.
A senior engineer in energy systems with over 30 years of experience in international operations and corporate governance, Zhao built his career at State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), where he also held leadership positions at State Grid Anhui Electric Power Company and as assistant to the general manager of SGID. Since 2016, he has been at the forefront of strategic acquisitions, such as CPFL and SGCH/Chilquinta, serving as vice president of CPFL, CEO of SGCH, and president of Chilquinta. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to the development of the electricity sector and international cooperation. In 2025, he assumed the presidency of SGBH, where he will continue to strengthen the partnership between China and Brazil and drive the company's sustainable growth.
Electrical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), with a postgraduate degree in Electrical Power Systems from PUC-MG and an MBA in Project Management (CEMIG). He has over 40 years of a career entirely dedicated to the Brazilian electricity sector, having held numerous executive positions at CEMIG and PLENA Transmissoras, where he was CEO from 2001 to 2010. He has held the position of vice president of State Grid Brazil Holding since 2011.

Has extensive experience in management and leadership of HVAC, HVDC and UHVDC operation and maintenance. He joined State Grid Brazil Holding in 2019 as Chief Engineer and headed the UHV Operation and Maintenance Department, leading the operation of XRTE.
Electrical engineer graduated from Universidad Tecnologica Nacional de Rosario, Argentina, and postgraduate in the Management Development Program at IESE Business School, in São Paulo. He has over 30 years of experience in the electricity and infrastructure sector, having held executive positions in several multinational companies in Brazil and Argentina. He has held the position of vice president of State Grid Brazil Holding since November 2022.
