Through the Prevent Fires – Forest Fire Prevention Program, State Grid Brazil Holding invests in innovative strategies that contribute to the remote monitoring of fire outbreaks and the prediction of forest incidents caused by electrical overload in transmission lines.
With geoprocessing tools that allow us to alert local teams at substations, we can anticipate scenarios, avoid interruptions in energy supply and prevent damage to the environment.
The program also invests in communication and environmental education actions with communities living near transmission lines.
