Company will build, operate and maintain 800kV DC transmission system connecting Northeast and Central-West regions. Bid offered discount of 39.9%
With a bid of R$ 1,936,529,074.68, at a discount of 39.90% compared to the initial offer, State Grid Brazil Holding won the entire Lot 1 of the Transmission Auction 2/2023 held this Friday by Aneel, at the B3 headquarters, in São Paulo. The winning proposal meets the specifications of Aneel's notice and corresponds to the construction, operation and maintenance of the 800 kV Ultra-High Voltage Direct Current (UATCC) Transmission System, interconnecting the Graça Aranha (MA) and Silvânia (GO) substations. The LT route extends for 1,468km, passing through the states of Maranhão (MA), Tocantins (TO) and Goiás (GO).
The Graça Aranha-Silvania transmission line and the Graça Aranha and Silvânia converters are part of Lot 1, which also includes other sections of 500 kV transmission lines and synchronous compensation equipment. The set is designed to strengthen the entire energy system, helping to ensure that any load demand is met by any generation point throughout the country.
