Seal, of international standard, recognizes Quality Management.
This year, the Engineering Division of State Grid Brazil Holding received the ISO 9001 certificate. The international standard focuses on the quality management of products and services. This is the second seal that SGBH has received this year: the first was ISO 56002, focused on innovation management.
The certification is the result of a series of internal initiatives by the Engineering Division of State Grid Brazil, but much of it is a consequence of the dedication and commitment of our employees in their pursuit of excellence in order to offer our good energy to all Brazilians. As part of the process, we established operational and management procedures aligned with the ISO 9001 standard, adapted the Quality Management System (QMS) and promoted awareness among the teams involved.
The certificate was accredited by CGCRE – Inmetro General Accreditation Coordination and by UKAS – The United Kingdom Accreditation Service, which endorses the Engineering Division's commitment to the quality and effectiveness of our services.
Second company certification in 2022
In July, SGBH had already achieved ISO 56002, related to innovation governance management. The company was the first in the Brazilian energy segment to receive the seal, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and the constant search for innovative solutions that contribute to the development of the Brazilian electricity sector. Over the last five years, State Grid Brazil has invested more than R$31 million in research and development projects.
