CULTURE
Culture is a genuine form of expression of life in society, capable of revealing stories, values, expressions and customs. For us, cultural diversity is a fundamental asset to be preserved and encouraged.
We recognize and value the different cultural expressions in Brazil. Project themes should preferably include cultural proposals that include social initiatives, that promote cultural exchange between Brazil and China, or that contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge focused on technology and the electrical sector.
SPORT
In Brazil, sport is a powerful tool for social inclusion. We seek to support actions that stand out in terms of social inclusion, promoting transformation and human development, improving quality of life, democratizing access, and recognizing and valuing relevant sporting events.
EDUCATION
Education is the energy that moves a nation.
We support socio-educational projects, in the most diverse segments, that contribute to transforming the lives of individuals.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
As a company that brings innovation to its core, we support projects of technical and scientific relevance that promote and contribute to technological development and the exchange of experiences in the various areas of the sector in which we operate. Some of the topics prioritized in this segment are energy transmission, logistics, engineering and sustainability.
SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL
In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we seek projects that promote improvements in the quality of life on the planet and the preservation and respect of the environment. We invest in socio-environmental projects aligned with the company's guidelines and good social responsibility practices.
childhood and adolescence
Investing in the future means taking care of children and adolescents now. We seek socially relevant projects that promote initiatives focused on special programs to protect children and adolescents exposed to situations of social vulnerability and personal risk, as well as projects aimed at ensuring the promotion, protection and defense of the rights of children and adolescents.
Elderly
Contributing to the well-being and quality of life of those who have already contributed so much to society is also part of our goals. We support socially relevant projects that promote initiatives aimed at guaranteeing the rights of people aged 60 or over, in order to guarantee health, assistance, social inclusion and leisure, providing quality of life to the elderly, with a focus on promoting autonomy and the well-being of the elderly.
Health
Ensuring a healthy life and promoting well-being is one of our most important goals. Projects that promote health, well-being and quality of life, through professional qualification, social inclusion, research and infrastructure improvement, will be given priority.
Pronoun
For us, life always comes first. Therefore, through the National Oncology Care Support Program (PRONON), we seek socially relevant projects that encourage initiatives to develop actions that provide vital services for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and verification of results and studies to combat cancer. Our pillars are: provision of medical care services, training of professionals, acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment, studies and research.

PROJECTS THAT COUNT ON OUR SUPPORT
Pacheco Leão House - Botanical Garden
In celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Brazil and China, State Grid Brazil Holding, in partnership with Banco BOCOM BBM, sponsored the renovation and reopening of Casa Pacheco Leão in the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden, where the exhibition “Tea Route – Botany, Culture and Tradition” traces the history of tea from its ancient origins in China to its global dissemination, highlighting its rituals, arts and social evolution. The Rio Botanical Garden is part of this history because it was the first place in Brazil where the cultivation of the tea plant was introduced by Chinese people brought by the Portuguese crown especially for this work, in the early 19th century.
TOMORROW'S TIDE ORCHESTRA
Since 2012, the Orquestra Maré do Amanhã has been sponsored by SGBH. The project promotes the learning of classical music to children and adolescents, aged between 4 and 19, who live in situations of social vulnerability. The initiative currently serves around four thousand young people from the Maré community in Rio de Janeiro, with classrooms, a community space and a theater.
Tomorrow's star
Using sports to promote a broad educational program (physical, psychological and social), the project uses football as a transformative factor, benefiting more than 400 children and their families in São Gonçalo/RJ, improving the quality of life of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. SGBH has supported the project, which contributes to the formation of citizenship, combating violence, respect for human rights and social inclusion, since 2019.
Race of the Seasons
The Corrida das Estações is a project that encourages and reinforces the importance of exercising to maintain physical and mental health. SGBH supports and participates in the initiative, promoting interaction, fun and well-being among the company's employees.
LITTLE PRINCE HOSPITAL
Since 2015, State Grid has supported Hospital Pequeno Príncipe, the largest pediatric hospital in Brazil. The institution, located in Curitiba, Paraná, provides up to 70% of its capacity to the SUS and performs more than 300,000 consultations, 900,000 exams, 21,000 surgeries and 250 transplants for children and adolescents from all over the country each year.
BARRETOS LOVE HOSPITAL
The project supports more humane care for elderly people suffering from cancer, also providing support to their families. Located in Barretos, SP, the hospital offers free medical and hospital care to patients who need cancer treatment. SGBH has supported the project since 2014.
IPREDE
The project provides assistance and support during early childhood development, also serving mothers and caregivers of children. The institution promotes the empowerment of women through education, generating productive and social inclusion for families that are identified as being in situations of extreme social vulnerability. SGBH has supported the initiative since 2022.
