In addition to complying with the legal and regulatory guidelines of the National Electric Energy Agency - ANEEL, in which a percentage of our net operating revenue must be invested annually in the Electric Energy Sector Research, Development and Innovation Program (ANEEL R&D), we consider the strategic area for the company's growth.

With our Innovation Governance Policy, we confirm the purpose of supporting national development, contributing to the improvement of the Brazilian electricity sector and improving our operational efficiency with projects that benefit society as a whole.

Using innovative technologies, such as Ultra-High Voltage in Alternating Current (UATCA), State Grid Brazil Holding is a pioneer in Brazil and the Southern Hemisphere, investing in alternatives that offer more savings and security for long-distance transmissions, in addition to of high capacity in the transfer of energy between Brazilian regions.
