State Grid Brazil Holding (SGBH) and the Chinese Society of Engineers signed a Letter of Intent on Monday (September 22) to jointly build a "Center of Excellence in Engineering Training." The ceremony marked the official launch of the project, which aims to be a collaborative space for the professional development of Chinese and Brazilian engineers.
The Center will focus on creating standards and solving technical challenges. It will also encourage the sharing of experiences and the exchange of innovative practices, offering strategic support for cooperation between Brazil and China. Furthermore, it will strengthen partnerships between the Chinese Society of Engineers and Brazilian institutions.
During the ceremony, SGBH President Sun Tao highlighted the initiative's role as a bridge for intercultural integration and the development of excellent talent:
"The Center will establish a two-way exchange platform to support Brazilian engineers in China and Chinese engineers in Brazil. This initiative broadens global perspectives, strengthens mutual trust through technical cooperation, and cements long-term partnerships."
