Through Prevent Fires – Forest Fire Prevention Program, State Grid Brazil Holding invests in innovative strategies that contribute to monitoring remote detection of fire outbreaks and in the prediction of forest incidents caused by electrical overload in transmission lines.
With geoprocessing tools that allow alerting local teams at substations, we are able to anticipate scenarios, avoid interruptions in energy supply and prevent damage to the environment.
The program also invests in communication and environmental education actions with communities that live close to transmission lines.
On the program's hotsite, content is presented in a playful and accessible way that reinforces the importance of a safe attitude and how society as a whole can contribute to preventing fires, preventing fires and preserving lives.
